Added drummer and percussionist Shawn Brawdy to the group. We're in a totally rad vibe with Shawn.

Realization: creative differences are the spice of life!  The Mexico Room heads into the studio to start recording first cd. Meanwhile, stop by Buffalo East and snap along to our beat!  We have a February performance on the 26th. Beginning in March, we'll headline at Buffalo East on the last THURSDAY of every month.

1.25.10 What is? 

The Mexico Room is a new project I started with my husband Ron and his close friend, Jason Fiedler.  Ron and Jason have this connection between them both musically and philosophically, which could have gone undiscovered without the powerful daily messages bestowed upon them at their shared place of employment. The name of our little ensemble was inspired by the genius design of one very special corporate conference room where Ron and Jason have each visited in their travels. This "project" includes an exchange of spoken word and improvisational music as well as song pieces performed by an eclectic mix of musicians whose influences brew a mystical and groovy stew.
